“24-hour hydration” is on a lot of moisturizer labels, but it is rarely shown. So we had our Rich Moist Soothing Cream studied to see what one application really does — and what changes over four weeks.
- ✓24-hour lasting hydration — from a single use
- ✓Skin barrier (TEWL) — significantly improved over 4 weeks
- ✓Skin moisture & oil balance — improved
- ✓Sensitive-skin tested; no adverse reactions
Cosmetic measures of the skin’s appearance and feel; individual results vary.
What we looked at
In a dermatologist-led clinical study of 21 participants, skin moisture was measured before, immediately after, and 24 hours after a single use — then again after 4 weeks for skin barrier, moisture and oil balance.
What the study found
- After a single use, skin moisture significantly increased and the effect was still measurable at the 24-hour checkpoint.
- After 4 weeks, skin moisture significantly increased and transepidermal water loss significantly decreased — a sign of better barrier function — with improved moisture/oil balance.
- No adverse reactions were reported.
Why ceramide + centella
Rich Moist Soothing Cream is built around ceramide (NP), centella asiatica and beta-glucan in a comforting, fragrance-free base — a “comfort moisturizer” for dry, easily-tight skin. It is also tested for tolerance, including on sensitive skin.
How to use it
Apply as your moisturizer step morning and/or night, over serums and toner. Use a little more on areas that feel dry or tight.
FAQ
Is the Rich Moist Soothing Cream clinically tested?
Yes. In a dermatologist-led clinical study (21 participants), moisture was measured before, immediately after and 24 hours after a single use, and barrier/moisture measures were taken after four weeks.
Does the hydration really last 24 hours?
In the study, the increase in skin moisture from a single use was still measurable at the 24-hour checkpoint. Results are cosmetic and vary by individual.
Does it help the skin barrier?
After four weeks, transepidermal water loss significantly decreased — a measure associated with improved barrier function — alongside higher moisture.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
It is fragrance-free and tested for tolerance including on sensitive skin; patch test first if you are reactive.
Note: figures come from cosmetic clinical/consumer studies measuring the appearance and feel of skin. They are not medical claims; individual results vary, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Always patch test.
