So, I have oily , acne-prone skin that gets red and angry very easily, especially when I try new actives or when the weather changes. I picked this up hoping it would help, and honestly? It's become my holy grail for emergencies.
I spent all day outside in Alabama heat and was looking for something to instantly cool my face anf combat the redness. I put the midnight blue calming cream on and was instantly cooled anf the redness was disappearing Talk about immediate hydration!
I have sensitive skin. This cream truly is a miracle as it moistures and calms my skin. Skin feels cool and hydrated immediately right after applying this product. Ideal for the heat of summer. I use this as my final step at night, after other treatments. It helps calm my skin and my inflammation. It’s not a miracle though. You need time and patience to see results. The cream contains Centella Asiatica extract which I think plays part of clearing all the pimples on my face. This cream is not very thick and its very light to apply. its best for acne prone skin.

This cream was nice and thick. It did feel more moisturizing which was nice for my dry skin. It calmed redness really well. I had acne at the time of using this product so it also just helped with the overall redness from acne bumps. The only downside is the dry down of this cream which felt slightly tacky to the touch.

The Midnight Blue Calming Cream by Dear, Klairs has honestly changed my skin. I originally got this as a sample from Yesstyle and was so happy to try it. After finishing the sample I knew I just had to buy the full tube despite the price. My skin at the time was very irritated, dry and red from treating my pimples with benozyl peroxide especially on my cheeks and jaw. I apply the cream every night all over the face as the last step in my skin care routine before I go to bed.

Apply it before sunblock in daytime and after serums or oils at night. It's light weight, corrects spots, soothes and calms your skin with its naturally calming ingredients like guaiazulene and centella asiatica. It also hydrates your skin leaving it soft and smooth and effectively helps in reducing acne scars and blemishes. It's suitable for oily and acne prone skin.
