My skin has just been off for a while. Dehydrated, texture, dull, etc. I’ve been trying to find something that would just help support my barrier. I kept hearing about this serum and thought I’d give it a shot. I’ve been using it for about a week now and my skin just feels better overall. I’ve cut out everything and just been using this along with the fundamental mist and midnight blue calming cream and have seen much improvement in just a week. I’ll continue to see how it goes but so far I’m quite confident in the product.
I tried using this serum to brighten up dullness, but it ended up targeting something 🙄completely different first: skin barrier recovery. While it didn't directly fade hyperpigmentation, rebuilding and calming the barrier made a massive difference in how quickly post-sun redness and sunburn healed. When your barrier is damaged from sun exposure, skin can look dark, inflamed, and patchy. By deeply soothing the skin and calming that underlying irritation, the sunburn recovered much faster, leaving the complexion looking far healthier and naturally clearer overall—even without active brightening ingredients!🫶🏻✨

I really liked this formula, I liked how late wait it was but I did not like how watery it was. So far this feels really good on my skin it absorbs really well, and I don't have any breakouts.

After using the whole bottle, I’ve come to the conclusion that I like the product, but I don’t love it. I do think that it does a good job at calming my skin, but it’s very watery. I like my serums to have a little bit more body to them as this had a very similar consistency to a toner. Also, I don’t think it did much to smooth out fine lines. However, it was a good serum to use as a base before laying others on top. Overall, it was nice but not something I would reach for again.
The Klairs midnight blue youth activating drops are a great part of my skincare. They apply easily and they're gentle enough to be layered with a moisturizer. My skin always feels nice and soft the next morning and I can see the improvement of fine lines around my mouth (smile lines). I look forward to keeping these drops in my skincare routine.
I used the whole bottle happily! I loved that it was more of an essence texture and I loved the blue color. I enjoyed using it as the first part of my skin routine to prep my skin for other serums. Peptides are great for the skin and the product is made in Korea. It felt luxurious to use. I recommend!
Firstly, thank you to the Klairs team for sending me a sample to try! I have introduced this product slowly into my existing post acne recovery skin routine. Product thoughts:- 1. Texture: Thin & slightly tacky/sticky towards the end, but it fades away quickly. If you have used Anua serums, that is way more tacky than this one. 2. Consistency: It is blue water. As seen in the video, it is 100% liquid, not really a serum form. For being liquid, a dropper form seems inconvenient. A spray bottle would have been much better application. 3. Effects: You may not see pumping effect like you would when you use SK-II essence, but after letting it sit overnight, you do see some smoothness on your skin! It is surely worth a try, no adverse effects, but I'll need to use it longer to comment on the results.

This product does not make me disappointed. I have known the midnight blue moisturizer before and i did use that in the past so i know pretty much about this kind of product when i saw the new activating serum or drop from Dear Klairs i immediately want to try it out. The drop has it iconic color which is ocean blue, this kind of ingredient really helps to calm the redness on my face down and does not feel heavy or sticky on my face. The texture is watery like applying water on my face, it absorbs quickly and leave my face as its original stated. My skin tone feel a bit brighten when i used it couple weeks. My skin is really sensitive with new chemical but for this one it does not make any negative impact, it is gentle and helps soothing my skin. The next day after i used active ingredients, i would apply this to repair my skin barrier and strengthen it. I highly recommend this product.

This specific serum is thin, so I often (& highly recommend), you mix this serum with either your daily/nightly facial serums and/or creams, then put on as a very last facial skincare step! BUT (YAY) very quickly (after using once even), learned that this is not the case, especially if you mix it with (I do daily) a simple but (important) “non-active” ingredients (google if unaware pls) serum, essence or cream- a VERY favorite thing of mine to do This serum is great & I highly recommend you try! I have also learned over and over to give ALL Skin products take time, some more than others but I aim toward about 2-3 months. ☎️📧 Customer Service- If any issues, always contact Klairs and return as needed…. find the right products for YOU! “KLAIRS” as a whole, has so far been an incredible company to work with and one that truly seems to care about Their customers- true story but rare, I know!! 💯 I highly recommend this amazing, super pretty blue serum for your everyday facial hydration needs! It has been a week since I have started using it. I am surprised by how light the serum is! It's watery in texture, absorbs quick. I use it in the morning. So far, I am loving it.
After using the midnight blue youth activating drop for a few weeks, I've been loving the effects I've been seeing to my skin! My skin tends to have a reddish tone to it along with the occasion acne, and I've been pleasantly surprised to see how effective this serum is at neutralizing both. Definitely recommend!
Watery, non sticky texture and fast absorbing serum that improved my complexion
I am currently on my 3rd bottle of the blue drops and I absolutely love them! I'm 39 with a normal skin type that gets drier in the winter and oilier in the summer and I have rosacea. This serum is both calming and never makes my rosacea flare as well as firming and well-aging. I noticed my skin feeling firmer from this serum in about a week! I was leary at first about the 20ml bottle being super small and that it's a bit expensive BUT let me tell you, if you are applying this correctly the 20ml will last you 4-5 months! This serum is very watery so I don't recommend applying it like other serums where you put it in your hand, run your hands together, then apply to your face. After toner, I hold the dropper above my face and put 3 or 4 drops: forehead, each cheek, and chin, and immediately rub it in each drop. You get full face coverage this way with 0 waste. The other reason this serum is GOAT is because it contains ZERO NIACINAMIDE! Rejoice! My rosacea hates it and it's everywhere. Please don't ever change or discontinue making this! It's perfect!
These Blue Drops 💙 are a game changer for when my skin barrier is destroyed or breakouts. Its a barrier repair in a bottle! My texture and acne scars have diminished and has made my skin look radiant and luminous! It does not break me out which is rare due to having acne prone combo skin. I will never not have a bottle!
